I'm Getting Married

Long story-short. Ryan took me out to a nice dinner at a resort in Scottsdale. After dinner we went on a Gondola ride and since it was cold and my ankle was hurt (not the point of this post) we had to cut the night short-so on the way home he took me by the temple, handed me pink roses and then he got down on one knee and asked if I could meet him there in a couple months to get married. I said of course and we ran (well I hobbled) back to the car because the wind started blowing!

My ring is beautiful. He did a great job designing it.

March 6, 2009!

Thanks to Jane-for taking all of our pics! They are great!

Tonight is the Night!

that I get to sleep in
MY OWN BED!!!!
Haven't slept in it since DEC 16!
I was in Utah and @ Kristin's, Jane/Todd's, Jake/Kelly's
I won't sleep in my house if my roomies are gone and they were all out of town. But now everyone is back, my vacations and babysitting gigs are over.
So Excited!
oh, and Happy New Year!

Ventilated Shoes

So I bought these pretty cool new running shoes in July. They are pink and white, and I only wear them when I am going to run, until that past week. I took them to Utah with me. Because they match my black and pink Adidas running outfit, and I was trying to pack light! (it's not possible, by the way.) So I only took those and my pair of black boots (with heels....in snow-great thinking, I know, but I brought my nice jeans that are too long, so I had to take some heels). I took the shoes when we went snowboarding. I was walking in the snow and I couldn't figure how my feet were getting wet. Then next day, we went to Wal-Mart and I stepped in a huge pile of snow....partly melted and my feet got soaked. I immediately remembered that these shoes have lots of ventilation....in top and the BOTTOM!! oops!

It's great for AZ when you are running and hot, but not so much for the snow. So, the melted snow went right through the bottom and the sole absorbed all the nice cold water to keep my toes frozen. It was pretty funny.
The trip to Utah was a ton of fun!!! I have some pics to post later. My camera won't let me load them right now. I'll have to play with it a little.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Potty Mouth....or blog (I guess)

So I kinda gotta know...

When you use a public restroom and you walk into stall and you see that the person who used it before you, uh, didn't flush......what do you do?

Do you flush it? and use it?

or

Do you walk out and go to the next stall that has clean (relatively speaking here) water waiting for you?

I personally am a flusher, always have been. Even in elementary school I was a flusher (which after working in the schools, is a very rare thing, and partly the reason I am blogging about this). Why make another person see it. Just close your eyes and kick the handle :)

I could go on and on....but I won't, it's gross....but I am just curious, flusher or not?

NEWS!!!

#1 I have an interview for a PT job I have been wanting! Yeah!! IT is with the City of Gilbert. It is next Tuesday morning.

#2 My best friend from high school, Emily, got engaged on Sunday. Also, Yeah!!!

#3 Ryan brought me these pretty pink roses yesterday with a nice card. :)

#4 Tomorrow I have to retape my Aqua Video. Remember how I was stressing about this video back in May? Well, I passed, 5 out of 6 areas, but for some reason the guy in France wants to see my improvements since then. STRESSED OUT. Anyone want to come to support me? Tomorrow at 6:00!

#5 on a sad note...please keep in your prayers the family members of Susan, a girl I have known a little through church, who passed away last week after a fight with colon cancer. She is my age and got married in January. She kept a blog of her journey up until the last day, that is very touching. You can read it here.

#6 I have to go now. I got called to be one of the Relief Society presidents in my new ward, and I have a lot to do to get myself rolling and with the program!
