All A's

Yup-I got all A's. This was a pretty tough semester, but I learned that if you do well enough in the beginning and take advantage of all extra credit opportunities it will allow you to bomb the final and still get an A. Now that the semester is over i can stress over everything else now. Which is ironic, because the highest grade I got this semester was a 103% in my STRESS MANAGEMENT class. Ha Ha Ha. So now I just understand the reasoning behind stress and how my body is reacting and all of the wonderful side effects of stress. I think I was better off not knowing, because now I am going to worry about what is going to happen to me because I am stress. My head hurts thinking about it!!!

So I want to share with all of you what I learned this semester at school. Physical activity can solve all of your problems. OK, not really, but sort of. In all of our classes it just seemed like all of the health problems today are directly related to, caused by, or increased by lack of physical activity. Depression and disease, stress, illness can all be reduced by regular exercise. I loved learning about it all and if you are interested, check out this website http://www.pearlsong.com/haes.htm, or just Google "health at every size." It talks about how people just need to find something they like to do and do it, instead of everyone trying to be at the gym to lose weight. The truth is, by going to the gym alone you are not going to lose that much weight. And news flash to make you all feel better-most diets result in weight gain. Don't diet. Just eat smaller portions and load up on fruits and veggies! YUM!

OK, sorry I rambled on, but I really love what I am learning and could talk about it forever. I think my friends are sick of me talking about how society is effecting health issues and how they could improve their overall health. I really am just so happy that I found this major and that I will have a chance, when I graduate, to help other people learn what I have learned! Fun Fun Fun!

So now that school is out I need to start my Christmas...can we say a little behind!
I have this huge list of things that i was going to do when school got out, and i have a feeling non of it is going to get done!

Have a great week!
