more time now??

Ok, So I am done with the semester!!!! I can't believe it. I think I have pretty good grades. I had an A in every class going in to the finals. In one class I had to get an A on the final to keep my grade. Since I knew that was not possible with the little time I had to study, I figured that I only needed 60 points out of 150 to get an 80% so I just figured I would shoot for a B. So I think I will get 4 A's and 2 B's..ok with me, considering the load I had and what I have been going through. This has been by far my most challenging semester, at one point I was taking 22 credits!! Wowie...but it's done!!

I am doing a summer internship at the YMCA in Glendale working at a center made for children to help reduce the risk for childhood obesity. It has a climing wall that is a treadmill (as you climb the "rocks" rotate like a treatmill so you can keep climbing) they have 6 DDR's and 6 practice pads, some Japanese kick boxing game, a balancing game, 4 skatebording games and video games that are powered by pedaling a bike (once they stop pedaling the game shuts off) The whole center runs on X-Boxes. It shouldbe pretty cool. I will be involved in the program planning and in the test group to see if the activities help children lose weight.

I am very excited to be involved in the planning. It is eveything that I have been learning in class, and I will gain a ton of experience and get to play all summer. I have to go to a week of training to learn how to work all the equipment. The opening day is June 15 and a couple news channels will be there.

So after summer, one more semester and then graduation :)

I will right more later, I am still watching the 4 kids. They are keeping me on my toes...

Good job LIz! Maybe I'll beef up my kids so they can come to your classes. Or I could put Brooke in a fat suit. ?>?
