Just a blog

Hello...

Not much to write, but I kinda feel bad when I don't blog forever. Guilty in a way...weird. Anyway, last week I went on a ward camp out/lake trip. It was a ton of fun. But the night in the hot Arizona desert was not. It must have been the most horrible night of my life! It was so stinkin hot! I had a spray bottle with me and I just kept soaking my clothes but then they would dry up really fast and so I would be hot again. I was also sleeping on top of my sleeping bag and it was piking up heat from the ground. Uh just thinking about it makes me hot!

The next day we went down to the boat dock early to hitch a ride on one of the four boats that came with our ward. For the first time I got up on a wake board!!!! Not once, but twice! I have tried several times, but never been able to do it. I am a water skier, not wake baorder. I took two really bad falls when I did get up and I finished with the second fall that ripped the board off my feet. mainly because I did not have the energy to put the board back on.

I then went tubing behind a jet ski and I have had really bad whiplash ever since. Sunday was horrible because I was in so much pain. I taught my wellness lesson number 2 on physical activity. I try and make it fun so this time I hid the quotes and such around the classroom (which happens to be the stage, so I tape them to the curtains) and they had to get up and find them. I think it went ok. I am preparing this weeks lesson tonight. This one is on nutrition.

Work today was horrible! Two field trips were late and we had 80 over capacity. I wanted to walk out and never come back! And the new girl at the front desk who happens to be a supervisor for front desk people (not a supervisor over non-front desk people), thinks that she is my boss and wants to tell me what to do. OH NO-she is not my boss and she does not have the authority to tell me what to do. So needless to say, we don't get along :)

And Welcome to my friend Jenny to the world of blogging!!! I am excited for you!

Sorry to hear about your wakeboarding experience....after the first time I went skiing I didn't think I would be able to have kids! Thanks for the welcome...you're my inspiration! :)
