Aerobics Class

Power Sculpt - Total body conditioning using a variety of equipment. This one-hour class will work your body from head to toe! Starts with an aerobic warm-up to get the blood pumping, then hits all the major muscle groups (abdominal exercises included) for a total body workout. This is not a cardio class.

That is the description of the class that I just went to...now I have a question. Does it say that word "HE double hockey sticks" in there anywhere???? Yeah, I didn't think so either, but in order for that to be an accurate description, the YMCA needs to put that tid bit of information in the class description! Today I remembered why I don't go to those classes.

And I am a little annoyed with some people in my aerobics class. Maybe some other can understand...

Every time you go to a class the instructor will say take everything at your own level, this is your workout...blah blah blah. Well, it is so annoying to me when you have one person doing double turns and flipping over the bench when everyone else is doing a basic right basic left. I want to say "Cool! Where did you learn to do that???" (sarcastically of course). Maybe I am a little weird, but I can't stand it! It is like they're are showing off. I am sure I could do that too, but it's not needed. If you want to dance around your step and throw in your hippity hoppity skills, come an hour later for the hip hop class!!! An extra step here and there and some power when you can is fine, but the extra stuff is just bugs me and I think it confuses some people too, especially new people.

Oh, speaking of that.... Ally came with me yesterday to a step class and did really well. She's will have to come with me again! It was a great workout. I was really hot, red and sweaty and I don't even think she heated up. We had planned on having lettuce wraps for dinner, but as we were leaving Brigham called and said they were at Weinersnitzel (my favorite!!! again I am being VERY sarcastic, I don't know how to spell it either because I have another endearing term for the place). so we went and decided not to eat, then decided to share an order of chili cheese fries, then Brigham offered to buy a chili dog, and then he bought us an ice cream cone. We still made the lettuce wraps, but that kind of defeated the point of the workout, or zeroed it out I guess.

Anyway, I am going to take a really HOT and long shower because I am going to be sooooo sore from that excellent class tonight!

So funny. I know EXACTLY how you feel. Those ladies with big b..bs, hopping around in their tiny workout clothes. Give it a rest!
