I moved last week, and I finally got my computer hooked up in my room last night. I was going crazy in my room getting ready everyday with no music or any sound for that matter (this house is really quiet!) I figured out that I can put my nano in my robe pocket and my earphones will stay in while I blow dry my hair so that worked for a while. I love the new house. The kitchen is a lot bigger than any I have had so that is nice. And we have TIVO!!!! hooray! But most of my shows are over so it doesn't really matter that much, and once I get busy with school I lose track of what is going on on all of them anyway. It was fun to go to the grocery store. IT was expensive because you have to buy all your staples, but I went through my cookbooks before hand and got some dinners for this week. I made stacked chicken enchiladas on Friday night....they were so good, and super easy, I will have to post the recipe.
We had a party here on Saturday night. We moved the couches from the front room to the back porch and all the other furniture to the garaga and had a whole room for dancing. Jake let me borrow some speakers and my roommate Jill has one of those different colored light balls that spins. It was pretty fun and it was so hot and stinky! My other roommate Kathy likes to take pictures so she has a lot of good ones from the party, that she said she will blog soon and I will upload them on my computer to post too.
School started yesterday. My advisor likes me a lot so she helped me squeeze in every last class I need so I can graduate in December. I am only taking 25 credits right now, no biggie. She told me she could get fired for doing that. But don't worry I am not crazy, 6 oc the credits are for my internship, which is almost done. I just had to register for the class. I just have to write a weekly report and I have one huge paper due for it. So I really only have 19 credits which is totally doable. 2 of my classes are online and I have another one that only meets on Monday's that is an elective that I don't really want to take, but there were only 4 of us in class yesterday so the teacher basically said we will meet for a short time on Monday and write a couple papers and do one presentation. It is some spa management class...not really my cup of tea or field of study but they are going to go aver a bunch of homeopathic and alternative medicine which is always fun to learn about. There are so many quacks out there, it is fun to see what they are coming up with next :) My first paper is about the healing powers of water....so I chose the category of water exercise. All the "spa" student were looking at me funny when I chose that, but whatever...they were choosing things like water birthing. I figured if I am going to take this class I am going to get something out of it.
My BIO teacher seems really cool and everyone that has taken his class said he is really awesome. I was crackin up in the class yesterday.
I will get some pictures of my new room to post. I can't find the cord that transfers my pics from the camera to the computer. So once I find it, I'll be in business.
