So my spring break is almost over :( So Sad!!! i just know that the next couple months are going to be killer! AHHHHHH!!!!!
Bud and I had a great time in California. i met the rest of his family. We stayed at his grandparetns house in Carlsbad. It was beautiful!!!! And the bed was the best bed I have ever slept on! His grandparents are so fun. His grandma reminds me of my Aunt Jane, and his grandpa could be the Prophet as far as I am concerned. They have a garden all around the house. They have peach, orange, tangerine, and lemon trees and then a cute little garden, and the rest of the yard is filled with flowers. One morning I walked out and his grandpa was putting smoke bombs down the holes by his rose bushes. Gophers were eating the roots and when you
put smoke bombs in the holes, they will run out.
We went to the beach at the worst possible time. The whole trip was sunny and warm, except for the time we had set aside to go to the beach. It was foggy and freezing, but we sat on the beach and blankets and did word puzzles in my GAMES magazine. We are probably nerds, but we had a nice time.
The best part of the whole trip was looking for a new softball bat. We found a Synergy Extended. The whole process took about 4 hours, but it was so much fun. Bud bought the bat light enough so that I can use it too. Thanks Bud!! We drove straight home and to our softball games on Wed night. I hit off the end of the bad over the shortstop! (which if you don't know about softball, hitting off the end of the bat isn't very good, but with the extended bat, the sweet 
spot is extended, meaning you can get good hits anywhere).
Last night Brigham's Plumbing softball team took first in the C league tournament. Way to go boys! They played and won 3 straight games. They always have the biggest crowd, but no one really watches the game. We have two Friday's off and then the league starts again. The pics are of the winning team, Dad and Kozy, Lucy and Ruby
We are having a family date night tonight....JANE you can plan one when you move here! We will miss you and TODD!!!! We are eating Corned Beef, Cabbage, and Red Potatoes at Mom and Dad's and then we are all going to the Body Worlds exhibit at the science center. Hope you are wearing green!

& I even know more than just your brothers on the team. of course you know I know my bro-in-law, Jason, but I know Cal too. He is my parents neighbor, but maybe you knew that.
heidi, your bro chad came to the games that night too. Alyssa was there, she did'nt come very often, but it was fun when she did.
