California Here We Come...Maybe

NOTE: Right after this post I went out to the car and dad had my bag open and was taking everything out. My can of Mousse emptied out into the whole bag!!! So I had to clean off all of my things and re-pack.

So it is 7:40am and Dad swore that we were leaving at 7:00. Tic-tock, Tic-Tock...Have we ever left on time. I kept telling him that over and over and over, but he said this time would be different. So mom and ad are out packing and re-packing the car. I would be out there helping but that would just make matters worse.

We are going to San Diego to stay at the *new* and *improved* Surfer Motor Lodge. It's a dive, but right on the beach! We are staying there for two nights then going with my parents friend's on their sailboat over by Seaport village. We will sleep on the sailboat Thrus night and then drive to LA to go to Disneyland on Friday and Saturday. Molly is already in Cali with Todd. We will meet up with them later today.

Heidi---I will try to call you one day. Are you closer to LA or San Diego???

I am bringing a couple books to read...Peace Like a River and one other one that I found at the library. Tried to get Twilight but it was all checked out at the library. I also have 3 moves for the car...Flicka, The Queen and Music and Lyrics. That should keep me occupied, along with all the snakcs we packed! I will probably come home with a couple extra pounds. But that's ok, just something to work on next week!
