Hello!
I came home early from Cali, a little unexpected, long story that I don't feel like getting into. My life is an emotional roller coaster...lots of fun (when it's up, not so much when it's down)
Speaking of roller coasters, I think I have been on my last one. I have inherited Gini's stomach, which means she has gained a new flower viewing companion on our next trip to the magic kingdom! I went on the California Sceamin and got off and ran straight to the bathroom. I made it through Soarin California, the Tower of Terror, and the Maliboomer before I got sick. I passed on Matterhorn, Space Mountain, and even the train ride. My mom actually went on that (apparently it would have been worth it to be sick to have seen my mom on that ride) while my Dad and I sat on a bench and people watched in the dark. He kept commenting on all the "Big Women" ha ha ha...If you know my dad you can picture him saying that. The scariest ride, believe it or not, was the Ferris Wheel. I know, sounds weird, but California Adventure has one that has swinging gondolas. You do not get strapped in and as it goes you are swinging back and forth. There are times where you feel like it is just gonna break and you are going to go launching across the lake right on the the lap of the tattoo artist in the arcade zone. I went on Splash Mountain for the last ride of the night. Our picture got "washed away", I still think that Todd and Molly were doing something obscene.
There is this thing I learned about in my Drug Abuse course last semester I can't think of the word right now, but when you are taking drugs, you can start to feel or smell colors. We were talking about this and I told them that the person who invented the Winnie the Pooh ride must have been on something. After we went on it they all agreed. If you are doped up, that is the ride you would want to go on...The colors in that are so freaky! IF you have been on it, you know what I mean....at least I hope you do : )
Today, we are having a pool party. We will miss Jane and Jake's families. I have made a veggie tray, which are by the way my favorite thing to make. Dad went to the store to get the olives. We can't have a Beeson party without Black Olives!
Here are my favorite veggie dishes.
The carrot one is new, I think mom said she got it at an antique store.
ATTENTION SIBLINGS- THESE ARE WILLED TO ME! I know that is very upsetting to the twins. Sorry boys, too late :)
I have started peace like a river. It is good, I just need to get in a habit of reading when I have the time. I should have lots of that for the next two weeks though. I will start my new job around the 15th.
This week I need to get off the letters to ASU that I accept the scholarship they have given me.
Have a Fun and Safe Holiday!
