I have been getting letters lately that I have not gotten the scholarships that I had applied for. On saturday I got one and the first word was Congratulations! So I was excited and kept reading. It said that I had been chosen for the Neely scholarship and that I would be awarded $1100 each semester for 2007-2008 school year. I kept reading and it had the following three requirements
1-Maintain a 2.5 GPA
2-Be enrolled full time
3-Be admitted in to the MORRISON SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS!!???
What-why give me a scholoarship that says I have to change my major-retarded!
So on Monday I get a call from the ASU financial services office and they state that requirement #3 should have been deleted and that I am eligible for the scholarship-yeah!!!
I was not planning to work for my last semester, but now I know I don't have to! I still think that I will get the spine scholarship ($500) so I am waiting to hear on that one.
I also got all my grades back- all A's and a darn B+. it's ok though becuase my overall GPA is still a 3.97
Bud bought tickets for us to go to the Suns
game tonight....They always lose when I go, but tonight if they lose it won't be my fault, it will be the NBA's for suspending Diaw and Stodemier.
