New York City

I don't know where to begin???!!!! I heart NYC!!!! That was the most exhausting vacation ever! I don't even think I could call it vacation. Maybe vacation from eating right and keeping a budget! Jane was so much fun to go with and had a lot on her list for us to go do. It was great. We ate and ate and walked and walked some more. We averaged about 15 miles a day. I was looking for a shirt that said" I ate my way through the Big Apple" because it would have been true. I think it was the best frist trip to NYC that anyone could of had....

except for the fact that I booked the wrong flight and didn't realize it until I got the work the day I was suppose to leave. It cost a lot, but I changed it and left when I thought I was scheduled to leave. Then, when I got to the airport, since I had changed flights I got lucky enough to get searched. Tons of fun. But all that aside, it was a great trip!

My friend Jenn was there working at the Empire State Building, so she hooked us up with a sweet hotel right in the middle of Manhatten (at least I think it was the middle, but I don't know where we were.) and She also got us free tickets to the top of the building. My ears were popping going up in the elevator. When she got off work we would go meet her and hang out for the evening. Jane left Friday and Jenn and I stayed and shopped and hung out with our friend Rustin, who is going to dental school there. We also saw Mama Mia. It was really good.

See Jane's blog for the quick day by day of what we did. I took all of my pictures on my camera after Jane left because we were using her camera for everything, so I don't have any pics with her, but here are a few.

Time square after Mama Mia

In a cute little park eating my first New York Bagel. It was sooo good!!! I got an everything bagel with olive cream cheese on half and cheddar/bacon on the other.

Me trying the Pinkberry ice cream and hating it. Jenn loved it though
