Catching up

Been busy-so is life?? right!

I have been lucky/ blessed to get a substitute job pretty much everyday since I quit my job. I also have been called for last minute health screenings. Last week I was doing health coaching for employees of a casino, and the rest of this week I will doing them for a credit agency. It is kind of repetitive, but a nice change from Saxon math, spelling lists, bathroom/drink breaks, hand sanitizer and more hand saniziter and poopy pants-----yes, poopy pants. (not me, a little boy at school and it smelled!.)

I have decided that I like Jr. High the best. I could see myself teaching Jr. High at some point, but we'll see.

Just got called as the fellowshipping co-chair in my new ward and I am on the summit commitee. We have a yearly ward campout called summit. It is this weekend and I am in charge of the video night and get to know you games. I am excited, but it will be nice when it is over. I also have been working on new water aerobics routines and spending time with a BoY! :)

Just got back from Cali and had a ton of fun. Saw Napoleon Dynamite at church in Hollywood and I am pretty sure that the inspiration for his charater in the movie came from the free spirits in that very ward. Funny! Last night was a good night-first night in my own bed in 12 nights! Don't get any ideas-I am a good girl! I was sleeping at a friend's house while her roommate was in Barbados for a week, then we left to Cali. Let me tell you what, it is hard not sleeping in your own bed and it felt so nice to fit back into MY mold in MY bed.

Played softball tonight. I have been playing between 2 and 3 times a week. I made a couple good throws in to 2nd base tonight ( I was playing 2nd but relaying the ball in the the short stop at 2nd). They were just short of tagging a couple people out. I was so upset. Then when the game was over I was leaving and an all men's team came up to me and said they needed a 2nd baseman and asked if I would stay and play. I laughed and said, "sure, you got a hat to hide my hair" and they said yeah, and then I walked away----they must be desparate!

ahhhhhh......feels good to get all that out and check blogging off my list of things to do.
